Episode 1 - The Overview
Marriage as we know it has been shaped more by culture and societal norms than theology and Scripture. In this opening episode, we examine how historical shifts in social norms have quietly redefined marriage and why those assumptions now feel “normal,” despite not being rooted in Scripture.
We then introduce a theology of marriage that is intentionally different, Biblically rooted, and often considered radical by modern standards. It's not a remix of contemporary values with biblical language. It's a framework built from God's design, responsibility, and order rather than social expectations.
Finally, we show how this theology moves out of theory and into everyday life. We discuss how it connects you to the immeasurable power of Christ and the Church as well as lay out how God's unique call on husbands and wives can radically change why you do the things you do (even if what you do doesn't change much).
This episode establishes the foundation for everything that follows: a marriage not shaped by cultural drift, but by God's original call on us...roles lived with clarity and purpose.
Episode 2 - For the Guys
Guys, join me as we examine what it actually means to be responsible for everything in the home - not as a power grab, not as control freak, and not as a cultural stereotype, but as a sober, biblical calling that truly represents Christ.
Responsibility here means ownership. If something is broken, neglected, strained, or drifting, the responsibility does not get passed or avoided. It rests on the husband. Not because he is superior, but because he is accountable for the cultivating and tending of everything God has placed under his care.
We dismantle the modern habit of shared responsibility (the old "50/50" model) without shared ownership and replace it with a model of husband-leadership that bears weight, takes up slack, and acts first. Then we translate that theology into daily practice.
This is not about domination or passivity. It is about clarity of who is ultimately responsible, and when you climb under that mantel, you will connect yourself to the power of Christ and the Church.
Episode 3 - For the Gals
Ladies, join us as we explore what it means to be a helper in the biblical sense, not as a lesser role or quiet compliance, but as a position of strength that fosters order, clarity, and life within the home.
We then address a paradox many women resist but ultimately find freeing: that releasing responsibility for ultimate outcomes does not diminish influence, wisdom, or voice - it clarifies them. When responsibility is not carried equally, it can be exercised more effectively. Freedom emerges not from holding everything, but from knowing what is not yours to bear.
From there, we move into practice by discussing how support, self-reflection, discernment, nurture, and influence function day to day when a woman operates fully within her God-given role as a helper, strengthening what her husband is accountable to carry.
This episode is not about retreat or self-erasure. It is about strength with clarity and the freedom that comes from building without carrying what was never meant to rest on your shoulders.
